The First Episode: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEb8NN…
Okay, I finally have the first episode done! Sorry that it took about a year to do it.
So here's the cliffnotes on what exactly happened during production. After Plasterbrain and I finished our lines, they were sent to my ex-video editor to put it together. Then it was supposed to be sent to me to add music and sound effects. He never finished the editing. After real life and other projects took over my life, I revisited finishing this shortly after I released the second episode of "Inner Demons: The Audio Drama", since, at that point, I started to use a different video editor than the Windows Movie Maker I've been using for my past projects.
Also I took over the re-writing the grammatical errors from my co-writer because she SOMEHOW managed to fuck that job up, which resulted in some lines in the video to be different from the speech bubbles. I had to rewrite a lot of the speech bubbles to fit with some of the altered (And strangely absent lines). Yes you heard that right, she FORGOT to put some lines in a script, when most of it was already written. The reason I wanted a written script in the first place was so that the actresses could say their lines fluently without the grammatical errors. *Facehoofs*
I don't know if I can continue this. I will send an email to the VA's to see if they still hold an interest in continuing this. If I DO continue, it would take me 1-3 months for each episode, because of real life issues, making "Inner Demons", and also because video editing is so tedious, that I get distracted by something every 20 minutes or so (I find audio editing much more enjoyable).
Honestly speaking, I'm not that all proud of the finished product. I finally know how Monty Python felt when they made "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". So many things went wrong in the production, it took a lot of the enjoyment out of me. I also did not like my performance as Dusk as well as I'd like to. What's your opinion?
